DAY 1: SPLIT TO OMIS

We set sail out of Split harbour and sail due south along the Croatia mainland. The sheer cliffs of the Croatia Bosnian border seem to tower over the cruiser, offering stunning scenery. Your cook will serve your first lunch before our Guide gives the low down on the week ahead. After lunch there will be a swim stop in a secluded bay before reaching Omis and its rich pirate history. One of the week’s highlights is the walk up to the pirate fortress, which controlled and protected Dalmatia for years against the threat of the Venetians. Tonight is the Captains BBQ and a pirate party on board so you get to know your inner villain.

DAY 2: OMIS TO PUCISCA TO MAKARSKA

We set sail after breakfast across the channel to the picture postcard Pucisca. Today being a Sunday, we’ll enjoy a long swim stop and maybe a game of water polo. Pucisca is the home of some of the best quality marble in the world; in fact the White House in the US used the marble and sculpturing talents of the locals to produce their masterpiece. After a swim stop we’ll head across to Makarska, Centre of the Riviera and playground to the Dalmatian elite. On arrival your Guide will point out all the important things in the town, before dinner and happy hour and then the party highlight – a rave in a cave.

DAY 3: MAKARSKA TO STARI GRAD

This morning will be slow after the events of the previous night. Breakfast is served a little later, before a refreshing swim stop off the island of Brac. We’ll stop near Bol for a visit before pulling into Stari Grad. This is an amazingly interesting town full of ancient Roman history and vineyards. Our Guide will connect you to the best wine maker on the island of Hvar where you’ll sit in their ancient vineyard and get treated to a wine tasting of the finest quality. As the sun sets and the wine makes its presence felt, we’ll offer you a lovely sun set dinner at the vineyard. Tonight is spent in the famous old town of Stari Grad.

DAY 4: STARI GRAD TO HVAR

Today is yours to explore the magical island of Hvar. Travel to Jelsa for a local Peke (it’s great - trust us) then go swimming in a host of secluded bays before arriving into Hvar town, the Dalmatian hot spot, full of celebs, all trying to outdo each other. This is where your Guide will come into their own, giving you tips on what to do on this island, essential in order for you to make the most of your island day. Tonight is huge - dinner where you want, happy hour, then Tequila Booms in Kiva. It’s the ultimate party night.

Day 5: Hvar to Korcula

Another late start with a swim stop near Korcula, the home of Marco Polo. Korcula is a lovely island with a beautiful old town, full of historic turrets to eat and drink in, probably the best sunset of the week and great pizza. Our Guide will once again make it easy for you, allowing you to explore the town at your own pace. Tonight there is a few little night spots to check out or chill on board the cruiser enjoying a bottle of local wine and some cheese.

DAY 6: KORCULAR TO MIJET TO SIPAN

After a short sailing day and a long swim stop we reach the fantastic national park oasis of Mijet. You have the choice of visiting the national park or just chilling back around the bay swimming, recovering, playing polo… before sailing over to Sipan for the Captains dinner this evening.

DAY 7: MIJET TO DUBROVNIK

We set sail early in order to get you in to Dubrovnik which is undoubtedly the highlight of your weeks sail. This town was once an independent state and can boast some fantastic history right up to the modern day. Your Guide will once again come into their own here with a walk along the walls of Dubrovnik and a retelling of its past. Tonight you’ll party within the ancient walls just like the rebellious people of Dubrovnik have been doing for years.

DAY 8: DUBROVNIK

BEST BEDS

We've got a range of different cabins available on our Croatian sailing boats, depending on how much you want to spend. All cabins (rooms) are twin berths (2 beds per room), usually with bunk beds. You can choose whether to go for an Ensuite cabin, which will have your own bathroom, or Standard, which means you'll be sharing facilities with two or more other cabins. You can also choose between above deck cabins (bigger windows, more fresh air, less engine noise) and below deck cabins (small portholes, less noise from other passengers). Ensuite above deck berths are the most expensive and standard below deck are the cheapest so decide what suits you best and book yourself on!Please note that not all classes of cabins are on the same boat. Busabout cannot guarantee you will sail with your friends unless you book the same category cabins. If you are travelling in a group and have separate bookings or are booked on to different cabin classes please let us know who you wish to travel with so we can allocate cabins accordingly and confirm whether you will be able to be in the same boat.Pre/Post tour accommodation - Book through MyTrip
