Day 1 : Amman, Jordan
Amman is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world, so you're a little late... but welcome! Head to a shawarma stand or grab a plate of mansaf because the food here is off the hookah. Just be back in time for tonight's welcome meeting.<br /> <br /> Included today:<br /> - Airport transfer
Day 2 : Amman to Petra
Go old school in Madaba, the site of an ancient Holy map that's so detailed it's like Google Maps for theologists. Then, soak up views of the Promised Land from the top of Mt Nebo, storm a giant Crusader castle in Karak... and we haven't even gotten to the Lost City yet. <br /> <br /> Included today:<br /> - Madaba<br /> - Mt Nebo<br /> - Karak castle<br /> <br /> Meals:<br /> - Breakfast<br /> <br /> Optional activities:<br /> - Petra By Night
Day 3 : Petra
Chiseled from sheer cliffs of rose-red stone and named one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, Petra’s existence seems impossible. Grab your satchel and don’t forget your hat, Indiana Jones has nothing on you today as you wander through the Siq and catch your first glimpse of the Treasury.<br /> <br /> Meals:<br /> - Breakfast
Day 4 : Petra to Wadi Rum via Little Petra
After an off-road desert drive through Wadi Rum, spend the night in a Bedouin camp and feast on a traditional earth-oven dinner with one of the world’s most ancient nomadic tribes. Also realise you’ve never really seen stars before.<br /> <br /> Included today:<br /> - Little Petra<br /> - 4x4 excursion <br /> - Overnight in Bedouin desert camp<br /> <br /> Meals:<br /> - Breakfast<br /> - Dinner
Day 5 : Wadi Rum to Aqaba
Aqaba is Jordan’s only coastal city so take the option to dive, windsurf and snorkel the Red Sea. Day 6 : Aqaba to Amman
At 427 metres below sea level, the Dead Sea is so salty you can float like a cork in a badly opened bottle of wine. Time to enjoy one of the world’s oldest health resorts. Then it’s back to Amman to see the likes of the Citadel and Roman ampitheatre on a city tour. <br /> <br /> Included today:<br /> - Dead Sea<br /> - Amman city tour<br /> <br /> Meals:<br /> - Breakfast
Day 7 : Amman
Today we crank the history knob up to 11 and take you through Jerash - home to Greco-Roman highlights, including a hippodrome which was used for chariot racing, not hippos. Then visit Ajloun Castle aka the Jordanian telco of the 1200s - once an important pigeon post to help get messages from Damascus to Cairo in a single day.<br /> <br /> Included today:<br /> - Roman ruins at Jerash<br /> - Ajloun Castle<br /> <br /> Meals:<br /> - Breakfast
