Saturday - Kos
Arrivals and Departures: Fly to Kos and transfer to Kos marina for embarkation. Kos is the home of the father of modern medicine Hippocrates and the ancient ruins of the Asklepieion medical complex are a must. In Kos town you can hire a bike as the best way to explore.
Sunday - Knidos (17nm)
A scenic bay virtually surrounded by extensive ancient ruins of the same name, in a dramatic location. In the evening, we dine in the solitary taverna ashore.
Monday - Datca (20nm)
Today we head east along the Datca peninsula towards Datca, a bustling harbour town with a traditional feel. Dine ashore in one of the many traditional restaurants.
Tuesday - Symi (15nm)
The stunning harbour of Symi is a great place to sail into. The amphitheatre town retains its' traditional character and charm having been much renovated over recent years. Be sure to climb the steps to the church for a superb panoramic view.
Wednesday - Panormitis, Symi (14nm)
A well sheltered scenic bay surrounded by pine clad hills and dominated by the notable monastery of the archangel Michael, protector of Seafarers.
Thursday - Tilos (20nm)
The epitome of a traditional Greek Island with nice beaches, an internationally protected bird sanctuary and a friendly ‘far from the madding crowd’ feel.
Friday - Nysiros (20nm)
Returning to Kos, known as the island of Hippocrates in antiquity

Sunday - Pothia-Kalymnos (17nm)
Known as the island of the sponge divers. The bustling harbour town boasts several museums, and a lively neoclassical sea front.
Monday - Lipsi (30nm)
The largest of a small group of islands to the south of Patmos, explore the local market for thyme honey and other local specialities.
Tuesday - Patmos or Arki/Port Augusta (12nm)
Depending on the weather, we will head to Patmos, for a visit to the monastery of St John or alternatively the smaller island of Arki and the quiet village of Port Augusta, a sleepy little spot with just two tavernas ashore.
Wednesday - Leros (21nm)
We moor in the marina in Lakki, on the south west side of the island. Evidence of Italian occupation is obvious in the town, with a good range of facilities ashore
Thursday - Free sailing (35nm)
Heading back towards Kos, there are options for a quiet night in Emborios or Vathi on Kalymnos or a chance to explore the smaller island of Pserimos to the east of Kalymnos.
Friday - Kos
Hire a bike to explore this attractive resort town and nearby beaches. Farewell evening ashore in lively Kos town
Disembarkation after breakfast and transfer to the airport or your on going accommodation. 2 week clients can use the opportunity to explore the wonders of this historic and fascinating island.
Note: The Dodecanese is a more challenging sailing area and as such the route is weather dependant. During the summer Meltemi season (normally July and August) a revised itinerary will operate, taking into account the prevailing wind patterns.
The above itineraries are indicative and subject to weather conditions. Whilst guests will typically see all the islands listed, the skipper may change the order of ports of call or make other changes as may be necessary
Each new day brings another island to explore
Set sail from Kos and explore the wonderful islands of Lipsi, Leros and Kalymnos amongst others before sailing into Patmos and then returning to Kos at the end of your first week. Explore the vibrant cosmopolitan and historic island of Kos before leaving the yacht or, better still, continuing for a second week of sailing. From Kos we will visit the islands of Tilos, Nysiros and Symi to name but a few before sailing back towards Kos. –

Our selection of yachts are the perfect vessels for your Dodecanese sailing adventure, with 4 spacious guest cabins, most with en-suite facilities. A maximum of eight guests are on board, together with an experienced, professional crew to look after you. Breakfast and a light lunch is included, which can be enjoyed on deck whilst anchored in a scenic bay. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters before or after lunch, the choice is yours
A voyage of discovery
There is nothing better after a day of great sailing than to relax in the spacious cockpit and enjoy a sun-downer with your fellow sailors, before exploring each new island. We try to arrive into harbour in the afternoon as the towns and villages we visit are well worth exploring, with each having their own character and specialities. If you are a foodie, this is a great part of Greece, with each island having their own local delicacies to try.
Typical mediterranean weather pattern in the Ionian islands, with light breezes ranging from force 3 to 5 in the months of July and August. Afternoon breezes are usually a little stronger.
Sunday morning flights from Gatwick or Stansted to Corfu or Kefallonia, with afternoon or evening return. Flight time 3 hrs 30 mins. Regional flights available on request.
20 minute road transfer to Gouvia Marina, Corfu from Corfu airport. 30 minute transfer to Agia Eufimia harbour town quay from Kefallonia airport.
