IONIAN ROUTE - WEEK 1 - 3rd, 17th, 31st July; 14th August 2016
Sunday - Agia Eufimia, Kefallonia
Fly UK to Kefallonia and transfer to the harbour of Agia Eufimia, a traditional small town with some excellent seafront tavernas.
Monday - Fiskardho, Kefallonia (12 nm) -
The town of Fiskardho is one of the must see destinations in the Ionian. Sophisticated and chic, it retains much of its venetian heritage and offers some of the best restaurants in the Ionian.
Tuesday - Lefkas Town, Lefkada (18 nm)
After a lunch stop on one of the beautiful bays on the north coast of Meganisi, we head for Lefkas Town, a popular holiday town. Explore the alleyways behinf the sea front and discover some excellent tavernas.
Wednesday - Parga, Mainland (32 nm)
Dominated by the 'Kasteli' fortress which is well worth the climb for its spectacular views, this historic and picturesque town is now a well-established resort with plenty of choice for a good night out.
Thursday - Gaios, Paxos (12 nm)
Gaios is the main town of Paxos, the island famous for supplying olive oil to Harrods. The bustling town has something for everyone and is well protected by the close lying islands to the east.
Friday - Corfu Town (28 nm)
We have a choice of harbours, often mooring under the famous Castle itself. We generally try to arrive early, giving plenty of time to explore this fascinating historic city.
Saturday - Gouvia Marina, Corfu (22 nm)
We head north to the beautiful village of Kassiopi for lunch before heading to Gouvia marina for the night.
Sunday - Gouvia Marina, Corfu
Arrivals and departures. For those staying with us for a second week, the chance to explore the island - a day on the beach, a visit to a waterpark or another day exploring Corfu town. The choice is yours.
IONIAN ROUTE - WEEK 2 - 10th, 24th July; 07th, 21st August 2016
Sunday - Gouvia Marina, Corfu
Arrivals and Departures. Transfer from the airport to the marina for embarkation.
Monday - Corfu Town (5 nm)
No trip to the Ionian is complete without a visit to Corfu Town, the old part of which is inscibed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Tuesday - Ligia, Mainland (35 nm)
A stop on the north coast of Paxos in the beautiful bay of Lakka for lunch before we head down to the mainland town of Ligia.
Wednesday - Vathi, Meganisi (32 nm)
Depending upon the weather, we often overnight in one of the lovely bays on the north coast of the island of Meganisi.
Thursday - Assos, Kefallonia (25 nm)
If the weather permits, we take to the western coast of Kefallonia, stopping in Assos, a beautiful little village which straddles the causeway to the Assos peninsula.
Friday - Argostoli, Kefallonia (28 nm)
The capital of the island is our destination today, exploring the deep bay on the south of the island.
Saturday - Agia Eufimia, Kefallonia (42 nm)
Exuding traditional Greek charm, this is our base port in Kefallonia, with a great choice of tavernas for a last meal on the island.
Sunday - Agia Eufimia
Arrivals and departures. For those staying on for 2 weeks, a chance to explore the island or relax on the beach. You can also take a day trip to Ithaca, the setting for Homers Odyssey

Set sail from Kefallonia or Corfu and explore the beautiful islands of Paxos, Lefkas, Ithaca and Kefallonia amongst others. Enjoy a swim and lunch in a choice of tranquil bays and evenings exploring the local village tavernas.
The only way to travel
Our selection of yachts are the perfect vessels for your Ionian sailing adventure, with 4 spacious cabins, all with en-suite facilities. A maximum of eight guests are on board, together with an experienced, professional crew to look after you. Breakfast and a light lunch is included, to be enjoyed in the spacious cockpit whilst anchored in an idyllic bay. Enjoy a refreshing swim before or after lunch, it's up to you to decide.
A voyage of discovery
There is nothing better after a day of great sailing than to relax in the spacious cockpit and enjoy a sun-downer with your fellow sailors, before exploring each new island. We try to arrive into harbour in the afternoon as the towns and villages we visit are well worth exploring, with each having their own character and specialities. If you are a foodie, this is a great part of Greece, with each island having their own local delicacies to try.
Typical mediterranean weather pattern in the Ionian islands, with light breezes ranging from force 3 to 5 in the months of July and August. Afternoon breezes are usually a little stronger.
Sunday morning flights from Gatwick or Stansted to Corfu or Kefallonia, with afternoon or evening return. Flight time 3 hrs 30 mins. Regional flights available on request.
20 minute road transfer to Gouvia Marina, Corfu from Corfu airport. 30 minute transfer to Agia Eufimia harbour town quay from Kefallonia airport.
